How to Increase Your Finances With Feng Shui

 Creating a Feng Shui Garden

The ancient Chinese art of Feng Shui, allowing positive energy (Chi) to flow freely throughout your home to encourage harmony in your home, is not limited simply to indoor locales; the methods and philosophies can be applied to outdoor settings too, like your garden. Creating an harmonious outdoor space by following the art of Feng Shui is easier than you may think it to be.

The Five Elements
Incorporating the five Feng Shui elements into your garden is an important part of ensuring that your garden is an environment that is full of positive vital energy.

  • Water – water is one of the most important life-giving elements on earth. To bring Water into your Feng Shui garden you could put in a fountain or even an ornamental fish pond.
Earth –  is most often represented indoors by pebbles or clay pottery. Consider adding boulders or decorative rocks and pebbles arranged in a creative design to not only bring the element of Earth into your garden, but to also add to the visual appeal of your garden.
  • Fire – the element of Fire is one that is easy to include in your Feng Shui garden; an outdoor fireplace is an ideal solution. The element of Fire is also represented by the color red so consider bringing several bright red plants into your garden.
  •  Metal - the Feng Shui element of Metal can be added to your garden by the addition of an attractive wind chime or even ornamental art pieces. Be certain that the Metal elemental pieces in your garden don’t have sharp edges; smooth and soft lines in the design are the best solutions.
  •  Wood – Wood is perhaps one of the easiest elements to include within your Feng Shui garden as it is represented by plants and the color green. The plants in your garden should be vibrant and healthy; carefully survey your garden frequently to ensure that any unhealthy or dead plants are removed before they can affect your garden’s Chi.
Incorporating the methods of Feng Shui into your garden is a wonderful way to extend your influence over the positive flow of energy in all of your environments; and is a simple way to increase the beauty of your garden!
